Why?
Why Start The Site?
How many websites have you started and let fall by the wayside? Well, for us it has been quite a few. So finally Alicia decided
that if we combined our website between the three of us, maybe we could keep it up and running. Plus, putting all of our stories
in one place just kind of made sense. As you will see if you read the stories. All of our stories overlap, alot (even in our
individual sections). We are really attached to the characters and we just really couldn't let them be left to fade away.
Of course as you read through the different seasons you can see each writer change and develope their writing styles. Some of the
seasons have even been rewritten since their original versions. We will try to keep the latest versions available for eveyone to
read here on this site.
Why The Name?
Honestly, Dark Illuminations started off as a review site. However, Alicia just didn't have the time or motivation to keep it up
and running. One day while working on her old site, it occured to her to convert Dark Illuminations into a fanfiction site. She
changed the name to Dark Illumination. When we asked her why she used the name and this was her answer. "All of our characters are Dark
in nature, but the site was created to illuminate or shine light onto the different characters. Hence Dark Illumination."
We still think it is because she was too lazy to get a new domain name, but hey whatever sounds good right?
